Finlay Donovan Is Killing It
by Elle Cosimano
This book was unputdownable.
Finlay is a struggling, single mom, who is a suspense
novelist and is drowning in debt. Tired of all the bills that are piling up on
the front porch and her husband’s threat, she is meeting her agent at Panera to
talk about her next book. While she is sharing the plot of her next book, she
receives a job offer from a random customer. This is when she finds herself
investigating a real-life crime!!!!
Who knew real life crime could be so much fun.
The main character was amazing, funny, and amiable. I would
never do what she did in the story, but I really liked her.
A fun, fast-paced mystery. I don’t remember laughing so much
reading a book and the anxiety when Finlay got herself into more troubles as
she moved from one situation to another.
The storyline is flawless, the characters are smartly chosen
and the dynamo duo in between Finlay and Vero is remarkable.
I can’t wait to read the next book.
