Accidental Presidents-

Accidental Presidents: Eight Men Who Changed America
by Jared Cohen

In accidental presidents, Jared Cohen is focusing on eight American presidents who came to the office without them being elected. And the fact that how their nature and personality Shifts and alter the world and the entire country. And how these eight men really changed the history.
Accidental presidents also enhance a great comprehension of limits and powers faced through presidency's critical times.
A very educational book. I knew about five but had no idea about the other three.
Accidental presidents also offer several new and unheard stories.
One thing I really liked about this book was the history was brought to life. Very well written book and wild at the same time.
I found Roosevelt's chapter the most interesting chapter.

One Summer in Paris-

One Summer in Paris
By Sarah Morgan

Grace, the main character in this book is in her 40’, while she is getting ready to surprise her husband on her 25th wedding anniversary with a one-month trip to Paris. Her husband he’s announces that he has been having an affair with their former babysitter and wants out of their marriage.

Being forced by her daughter to take the trip to Paris on her own, she is feeling frustrated and miserable when she meets Audrey, who has moved to Paris recently working in a book store.
Audrey, 18, is a dyslexic daughter of an alcoholic and sometimes abusive mother.

She is trying to rebuild her life and she moves from London to Paris not having any money or knowing what happens next, she starts working in a book store.

And what comes next is what happens when Audrey and Grace meet and all that that is happening in the coming month.
This book is like an emotional roller coaster. Made me laugh, cry and very emotional all through the book.
Sarah Morgan is an amazing storyteller. If you have read this book let me know in the comments what you think about it. 😊

Crisis of Democracy-

Crisis of Democracy

 by Adam Przeworski

Adam Przeworski explains how the current threats to democracy are not ust political, in his book “Crisis of Democracy offers an outlook of the political circumstances during an era of well-known democracies.
Adam Przeworski’s audience are not only professional social scientist but also individuals who are concerned about the prospects of democracy.

While the Crisis of Democracy provides great deal of data to the readers It is said that the information can change meaning the accuracy and relevance according to the tie of reading the book.
I found it not an easy read for me.

Things you save in a fire-

Things you save in a fire

by Katherine Center

Cassie, a 26- year- old firefighter in Texas, is an outstanding firefighter whose co-workers think she is very lonely, yet she keeps herself busy. She is on the point of receiving Austin Fire Department’s Valor Award as the first female ever received this award. While she is anxiously waiting to hold her award, there is an announcement that the award presenter is going to be someone else…..
And things start to happen one after another, she is having an emergency of her own and have to move to Boston and start her firefighting career over in a tough, old-school Boston firehouse .and everything changes in her life in a way she never anticipated.

This was the first book I read by Katherine Center, very well written, an easy read. things you save in a fire is a story of forgiveness, family, love and passion. A hilarious story and a must read.
