- The Silent Conspiracy

The Silent Conspiracy

(Jack Logan #2)

by L.C. Shaw

This is the second book of the Jack Logan Series. I haven’t read the first book “The Network” but this book can be read as a stand-alone.

Taylor and Jack are getting used to their life together parenting Evan, Taylor’s son. Taylor is a media freelancer who is focusing on interviewing families whose insurance claims were rejected. And jack is investigating a series of random suicides and murders. They come together and begin to make connections between their discoveries and link up their stories to solve this case. they come to realize that Damon Cross, Evan’s biological father (from the previous book) has faked his death and is roaming freely pursuing something in Jack and Taylor’s life.

This was a thriller full of actions and tensions. A fast-paced, gripping, and suspenseful story. Although the story can be read as a stand-alone, I was a bit confused as at points it was tied back to the first book.

The storyline was very interesting and twisty, I was able to connect with the textured characters.

I do recommend to thriller readers and I recommend that they read book one as well.
