In this story we get to know Cate who is married to Roan with two kids, is a physiotherapist. We will know about Saffyre Maddox who was Roan's patient (Roan is a child psychologist) and Owen Pick, who is a teacher in his thirties and lives with his aunt.
The story begins with a young girl goes missing, with no trace left behind , and now all three families are connected to each other in ways to solve this mystery.
It is a multiple POV story with complex and tormented and unusual characters. All characters are very well-defined, each enhancing the story more. Perfectly penned details make the plot intense and shocking. The characters and plot that are weaved amazingly, makes this story an engaging, believable and fast pace thriller. Each chapter adds more detail and layer to the previous ones. It was a perfect thriller for me, and I do recommend this mind-numbing mystery to those who enjoy mystery and thriller.
