by Roger L. Lilies. I first picked this book to review since the subject
sounded very interesting, I had no idea it would be such a page turner. Robert
Kerr is an engineer involved with the secret project of escape tunnels that were built under the Berlin wall during the Cold War.
He meets his wife while working on this
project in Berlin. Yet he is not able to share anything with his wife for
years. so, the entire book is the story he shares with his wife about this
project for the first time. I found the maps very interesting and honestly, I
felt I am back in time and literary watching all this to happen.

more exciting. Roger did a great job presenting this book in a way that read
more like a Novel. the whole book involves the engineer’s wife and her safety.

The book switches back and forth from different viewpoint of Robert and Anna, and how Anna got involved with the whole thing without knowing anything about the Tunnel until many years after.
